Domestic Abuse Awareness for Licensed Beauty Professionals

This course introduces licensed beauty professionals to the CUT IT OUT® program. It teaches you how to recognize signs of domestic abuse, respond with empathy, and safely connect clients to resources.

You’ll learn to identify various forms of abuse, spot concerning patterns, and communicate effectively and safely. By the end of the course, you'll be prepared to offer discreet referrals and use salon tools to help clients access support.  

To begin the training:
  1. Click “Start Course” below.
  2. Log into your PBA Member account. Don’t have a log in?  You can create a free one!  You will then need to go back to the training link to log in.
  3. Next you will need to click “Allow Access” to access the training program.
  4. You will then be directed to the online training!
